Today, our company distributes approximately 15-20% of the
stone aggregate and river sand imported into the Maldives.
This is usually for building purposes, such as building
resorts, and high story buildings.
Island transport includes the matter of transporting
materials/goods in bulk quantities from Male’ to other
islands in the Maldives or vice-versa. It is usually
transported from Male’ to other islands. This is due to
the fact that Male’ is neighboured to the international
airport, “Hulhule”, and also for the reason that Male’ is
the main port for overseas vessels to dock and unload
their goods.
At the time being we import river sand, aggregate, and
“Celcon” blocks from India
